Privacy Policy

Veritas ("the app") is built and maintained by Liam Todd. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting service, and no third-party SDKs.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following is stored locally using iOS system features and never leaves your device except where noted:

• Your saved quotes and notes
• Your streak count and opened dates
• Your era preference, card theme, and appearance settings
• Your notification preference and scheduled time

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is enabled on your device, your saved quotes are synchronised across your devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to it.

In-App Purchases

Premium upgrades are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We never see or store your payment information. Purchase history is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Home Screen Widget

The widget reads your daily quote from your device's local storage (App Group shared UserDefaults). No data leaves your device.
